The North Central Railway (NCR)’s Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has announced that Act Apprentices are being sought after for several divisions and workshops located in Prayagraj, Jhansi, Agra, and Jhansi Workshop under the Apprentices Act of 1961.

Vacancy Details:
- Workshop Jhansi: 170 seats
- Prayagraj Division: 364 + 339 seats
- Jhansi Division: 528 seats
- Agra Division: 296 seats
Academic Requirements:
A passing mark of 50% in matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent is the minimum cumulative grade needed for candidates. An ITI certificate connected to NCVT/SCVT in the pertinent trade is also required.
Selection Process:
Only merit will be used to select candidates, and this will be determined by:
- Matriculation Marks: Requires a minimum of 50% overall.
- ITA Exam Points: The same weight will be assigned to each. Calls will be made to those on the shortlist to confirm the accuracy of their documentation.

₹100 for the General/OBC category For Women, PWDs, SC/ST, and other categories: Free
Criteria for Age:
As of October 15, 2024, the age range for candidates should be 15 to 24. For the following categories, age limitations do not apply:
- SC/ST: for five years
- OBC: three years.
- PwD: ten years
Salary Range:
Stipends will be awarded to selected apprentices under the guidelines established by the state government in question.
