All the candidate who wants to become an advocate at the High Court or Lower court they will be required to apply for the registration at the State Bar council. The registration process is done through the examination. A candidate will need to clear the test to get a Certificate of practice from India’s bar council. There are some criteria to appear for the Bar Council of India registration exam. Here are the details about this.
- A candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate must have done law from any Bar Council Recognized Institute or University.
- The age of the candidate must be at least 21 years old. There is no maximum age barrier.
- If the candidate is law graduate from any other country, he/she will be allowed only if that country allows the Indian Lawyers for the practice over there.

- The exam will be held offline.

- Total marks: 100
- Total Time Duration: 3 hours, 30 minutes (210 minutes)

- A candidate will be given one mark for each right response.
