Recently, the Haryana government had released the notification of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) Examination for the recruitment of such candidates.

HTET Syllabus and Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme:-

The last date to submit its application form and change it was directed on its official website. As per the notification of BESH, Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) will have a test duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) exam will have 150 multiple choice questions and will be conducted in writing mode/offline mode.

Level of HTET examination:-

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) Examination will be conducted in 3 levels, which is as follows.

  • Primary Teacher (PRT ) for Class 1 to 5.- Level 1
  • Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT ) for Class 6 to 8.- Level 2
  • Post Graduate Teacher (PGT ) for Class 9 to 12.- Level 3-

  • In these examinations, qualifying marks for all categories of Haryana State and SC and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates of other states will be 60 % of the total marks.
  • While qualifying marks will be 55% of the total marks for scheduled caste(SC) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates of the Haryana State.
  • PRT, TGT and PGT Entry examinations of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) will be conducted separately.

Marking Scheme for HTET Exam:-

  • 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.
  • There is no negative marking in these exams.
  • No marks will be given for unanswered questions.
