ACIO (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer):

Eligibility Criteria for IB ACIO:

To join the Intelligence Bureau as ACIO, you will need to match the required eligibility criteria for this post which is given below:

  • All the candidates who have graduation in any stream from any recognized Institute or University are eligible to apply for this post vacancy.
  • The marks of the candidate in graduation should not be less than 50%.
  • A candidate must have computer knowledge (CCC).
  • Age limit: The age of the candidate must be between the 18 years old to 27 years old.
  • There are also some relaxation has been given to the candidate who belongs to the OBC and SC/ST etc.
  • The OBC candidates will get 3 years of relaxation in age.

  • B.Sc. (Engg.) awarded by a recognized University in the fields of Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Telecommunication or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or Software Engineering
  • Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers (AMIE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering
  • Graduate Ship awarded by Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers (AMIETE) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
  • Degree in Master of Science in Physics with Electronics or Telecommunication

If you are a graduate and wanted to join Intelligence Bureau, Then you can appear for UPSC Examination. After selection, you have to choose IPS Grade for training, after training you have to given options to choose between Police, IB, RAW, Income Tax etc. to join.
