To get an admission into a 4-year B.SC course of Nursing in the Nursing College of Armed Forces, the candidate(only females allowed) has to pass an Indian Army Entrance B.SC Nursing examination. By doing so, the candidate will cross just a single step towards her selection in the course.

So once a candidate gets enrolled in any one of the Army Nursing colleges. Then she has to get through training of 4 years in the college after which she will post in ‘Military Nursing Service’ according to the terms and conditions laid under the grant for short service commission.
Note: If she wishes to withdraw at any point of the training years from this course of Military Nursing Service(MNS), she has to refund the bond money as executed during the event of withdrawal from the course.
MNS 2020 Examination Pattern and Eligibility Criteria:-
When talking about the selection procedure into any course of the country, as you know it is very strict. The day by day increasing competition of these examinations is leading to a tough selection pattern in all the competitive exams.
The steps for selection in MNS 2020 are given as follows:-
The MNS 2020 Examination pattern consists of two procedures.
- Written examination-
- Interview
- The Written Examination consists of offline and objective type questions. The total duration of the examination completes in a total duration of 90 minutes.
- The test comprises of questions from General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and General Intelligence.
Now, the candidates who qualify in this preliminary examination, they are selected for the Interview examination of MNS 2020.
- The total marks acquired in the Written and Interview exams are now combined for the selection of a candidate for the 4-year training course.
- Once selected, she has to check as per the available vacancy in all the Nursing Colleges of Army so as to start from there her training.
Note: The students undergoing BSc nursing training will be granted permanent and Short Service Commission at a ratio of 60:40 based on their merit. The short service commission students are required to execute a bond of an agreement to serve in the Military Nursing Service for a minimum period of 5 years on successful completion of the course.

Educational Qualification:
Only female candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible to apply. They should have scored an aggregate of not less than 50 % marks in the final exams and should have passed the exam in the first attempt.
Nationality:
She must be an Indian from Nationality.
Age Criteria:
For qualifying into the eligibility criteria of the MNS 2020 Examination, the candidate has to be born between 01 October 1995 to 30 September 2003 as per guidelines on the official website.
Physical Fitness Test:
- The candidate’s height should not be less than 148 cm.
- Height relaxation is given to the Scheduled Castes and Tribes, including the women from the Western and Eastern Himalayan Region.
- An x-ray of all the candidates will be taken as a required step in the selection procedure.

MNS 2020 Application Form:-
The AFMC provides an online link on its official website for filling the forms for MNS 2020. Other than this there will be no other modes of filling the application form.
