Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test (PS TET) 2024 announcement has been posted by the Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB). October 1, 2024, is the start date of the online application procedure, and October 15, 2024, is the deadline. Educational Qualifications:

Applicants need to meet one or more of the requirements below:

• At least 50% in Higher Secondary or its equivalent, together with a two-year Elementary Education certification (D.El.Ed.)
• A two-year diploma in elementary education or its equivalent and a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) is required, along with 50% of the higher secondary grade.

Selection Procedure:

• Written Examination: The MP TET written examination is the first step in the selection procedure. Those who pass this exam will have access to other hiring procedures.
• Additional Screening: Those who pass the TET have to go through a hiring process run by the relevant departments to become teachers.

Application Fee:

• Candidates in general: ₹500
• Reservations SC/ST/OBC/Other Sort by: ₹250
• An additional ₹60 is required for the portal (MPOnline) for all candidates applying online.

Age Criteria:

As of January 1, 2024, the minimum age requirement is 21 years old, and the maximum age is determined by the regulations of the General Administration Department.

Pay Scale:

As per the 2018 recruitment regulations and applicable government policies, the chosen candidates for the Primary School Teacher position would get a minimum salary of ₹25,300, in addition to a dearness allowance.
