Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and age limits:
- Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Master’s degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed., or 4 years integrated B.Sc./B.Ed. or B.A./B.Ed., and TET qualification.
- Primary Teacher (PRT): 12th pass with D.Ed. or B.El.Ed., or a degree with B.El.Ed. equivalent qualification.
- Physical Training Instructor (PTI): Bachelor’s degree with a diploma in Physical Education or B.P.Ed.
- Music Teacher: Bachelor’s degree with Music as one of the subjects, or 12th pass with recognized music qualifications like Sangeet Visharad or Prabhakar.
Age Limit:
As of 1st January 2025, the age limits for the various posts are:
- PGT, TGT, PRT, PTI, and Music Teachers: 18-48 years

Selection Process:
The selection process comprises:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): A single-stage CBT with objective-type questions covering Professional Ability, General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Science.
- Skill Test/Typing Test: Applicable for specific posts.
- Document Verification: Verification of original documents.
- Medical Examination: Assessment of medical fitness.
Exam Pattern:
The CBT will be conducted for 100 marks with the following distribution:
- Professional Ability: 50 marks
- General Awareness: 15 marks
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 15 marks
