SSC Junior Engineer Syllabus and Exam Pattern:
The selection of the candidate is done on the basis of the Written Examination. A candidate will have to clear two phases of Examination. Phase one Examination would have Objective type questions with Multiple Choice Answers and the Phase two Examination would have descriptive type questions.
The SSC Junior Engineer Syllabus of both phases of the examination is completely different and it is mandatory to clear both phases of the Exam. A shortlisting of the candidates for the Phase two Examination will be done on the basis marks scored in Phase one Examination.

- All the questions would be in Objective type questions with multiple choice answers.
- Total Time Duration: 2 Hours (120 minutes)
- Maximum Marks: 200
- A candidate will be given 1 marks for each right answer.
- There is also negative marking 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
In their section of the Paper. Candidates have to attempt the questions of Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering etc. You have attempt only as per your disciplined Streams.

In the Phase 2 Examination of Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer. The question paper would be a descriptive form. A Candidate has to attend the complete paper.
