UP SI Selection Process:-

The selections in Uttar Pradesh police are based on the merit of following steps. These steps are compulsory for all the candidates to follow:-

First of all an online Written Exam.
Secondly, a step for Document Verification for candidates qualified in the above step.
Physical Measurement Test (PMT) is required for physical fitness criteria in the exam.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Once these steps are completed lastly, a medical fitness test is taken for the candidates who have passed out the above steps.

UP SI Exam Pattern:-

There will be objective type CBT paper
Duration of question paper is 2 hr i.e 120 Minute
There will be no negative marking.

UP SI Eligibility Criteria:-

Age Limits: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 28. While SC/ST are relaxed from 21 years to 33 years.

Nationality: A citizen of India can only apply for these posts. OR, a Tibetan Refugee is also allowed.

UP SI Running (Race):-

For Male- 4.8 Km in 28 Min
For Female- 2.4 Km in 16 Min

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

For SI civil police and platoon commander PAC: The candidate must hold a bachelor degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.

For SI Fire Service: The candidate must hold a bachelor degree in science stream of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.

Other Additional Qualification: O level certificate from the NEILIT or the DOEACC. Minimum 2-year service in the Territorial Army. B certificate of NCC.
